ALL GOOD THINGS (COME TO AN END)
"Why do all good things come to an end?"
I found myself asking this question after hearing a cut of the song's chorus on CSI:NY tonight, where Nelly Furtado guested.
We've asked ourselves the same over and over, whenever a beautiful relationship ended in a bitter goodbye, whenever the people we hold dear leave us, whenever fun turned to tears. The answers are usually hard to come by, especially if we are the ones left hanging. And once we find the answers, they're even harder to accept.
"Flames to dust, Lovers to friends..."

Good things come to an end for many reasons, Tina, and we must learn to accept them. Sometimes, an answer isn't even needed; one just moves on.
houseband, moving on would be faster, and maybe easier, if there was a reason. it may not have to be a good one, just that there be one.
You're right, Tina. It would be faster if there was a reason, but on the other hand, searching for that answer would sometimes make the grieving process take longer.
Sometimes, too, the answer would just hit you unexpectedly.
well, i guess we all have our own ways of coping. not just different for each person but also different for each circumstance.
That's right, Tina. We all have our own ways. =)
